Duties and Responsibilities:

At Hospice Malta, your skills will go far beyond maintenance you’ll be part of a compassionate team that helps create a safe, welcoming, and peaceful environment for patients and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
As a member of our facilities team, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring that Hospice is always running smoothly, efficiently, and beautifully. Every repair, paint touch-up, and safety check you complete directly contributes to the care and dignity of those we serve. Duties include:
- Performing general maintenance, repairs, and minor installations across the hospice (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Conducting regular inspections of the building, equipment, and grounds to ensure safety and functionality
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and clinical teams
- Assisting in setting up rooms and spaces for patients, visitors, and events
- Supporting preventive maintenance programs and keep detailed records of works completed
- Collaborating closely with the hospice’s operations, nursing, and volunteer teams to maintain a serene and safe environment
- Liaising with external contractors or suppliers when specialized work is required

Qualifications & Experience:
- Skilled in maintenance trades (experience or certifications in electrical, plumbing, or carpentry are a plus)
- Electrical License is not a must, however, applicants with possession of REWS Electrical License A will be preferred
- Ability to use Outlook for emails received through the ticketing system
Remuneration:
A fair and competitive remuneration package is being offered commensurate with the successful candidate’s knowledge and experience.

- A full-time position (Monday-Saturday), based in Santa Venera
