Job Description
We are looking for an experienced nurse to work within the Hospice professional Care Team providing Palliative Care to patients and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To work as part of a dedicated interdisciplinary team of professionals
- To assess, plan and implement individualised patient care plans
- To maintain appropriate and updated records of all sessions
- To liaise with and refer to other professionals or agencies when necessary
- To attend and take part in interdisciplinary team meetings
- To promote awareness of palliative care
Key Attributes
- A nursing qualification and warrant obtained from the Maltese Nursing and Midwifery Board
- A minimum of four years’ work experience as a nurse
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proficient in written and verbal (Maltese and English) communication skills
- Able to work effectively on their own as well as within the team
- Effective time management skills
