Job description
We are seeking a Part-Time Software Business Analyst, on a one year definite contract, to assist in the software development of a Hospice Patient Management database system. Reporting to the CEO, the chosen candidate will liaise with the supplier to carry out the necessary requirements and recommendations by the Clinical Team in a timely manner.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist in the system analysis, testing and implementation of new IT systems to enhance the existing IT software related to clinical use.
- Support in the daily administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of the system within the organisation.
- Keep updated documentation related to the system and its implementation.
- Monitor system resources, backups, anti-viruses and spam portals to ensure software security as well as the smooth running of the organisation’s systems.
- Liaise with all internal stakeholders to communicate project status, activities and achievements.
Key attributes
- Bachelor’s degree as Software Engineer or at least 3 years equivalent experience
- Experience in Microsoft Software Development Environment
- Experience in managing projects
- Experience with or knowledge of working with Development Technologies (MS SQL and ASP.NET)
- Experience with or knowledge of Testing procedures
- Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Technically strong background
