Ensuring continuity of care, Hospice has introduced an after-hours on-call service to patients 7 days a week (weekdays till 10:30pm and Weekends/Public Holidays from 8am till 10:30pm).  Patients and relatives receive nursing and practical advice, information and support.    Throughout the year, Hospice receives close to 400 calls for this service and requires approximately €11,000 per annum to cover the costs.
