Aims
- To manage the front office area of St Michael’s Hospice in Sta Venera
Responsibilities
- Welcomes patients, families, staff, volunteers and other visitors in a friendly manner while providing guidance and support;
- Carry out daily administrative work, including incoming calls;
- Operate digital equipment installed at reception according to the needs of Hospice Malta
- Ensures upkeep at the reception area
- Maintains records of visitors as well as calls received
- Communicating with clients in a professional, compassionate and sensitive manner
- Ensuring that any type of delivery is properly distributed within the Hospice team
- Ensuring that the reception is manned at all times.
- Knowledgeable about services and procedures at Hospice Malta
- Perform any other duties which may be given from time to time
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 years work experience in a front office setting preferably in a social and/or healthcare setting
- Excellent customer care service skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken Maltese and English
- Proficient in IT and Microsoft applications
- Be knowledgeable in handling office equipment
- Be a team player, flexible and organised
- Able to work on own initiative
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Availability to work all week including weekend on a shift basis.
