Description

My name is Anton Saliba, and RUNMALTA190 is my attempt to run the full circumnavigation of Malta and Gozo — 190 kilometres — in a single effort, in honour of my late father.

My dad was born in Marsa, Malta, and later built his life in Australia. He always dreamed of taking me to the island and showing me everywhere that meant so much to him.

He never had the chance, as he passed away from cancer in 2012 when I was 16 years old.

This run is my way of fulfilling his dream and, in doing so, raising funds to support those affected by cancer in both countries that shaped him.
