Camino Francés in aid of Hospice Malta
Description
My name is Eugene Warrington, and at the age of 66, I am embarking on a personal journey with a purpose.
On 24 September 2026, I will begin walking the Camino Francés, one of the world’s most famous pilgrimage routes, aiming to reach Santiago de Compostela after approximately 800 kms and four to five weeks on the trail. I will be undertaking this challenge solo, carrying with me not only my determination but also the hope of raising funds for Hospice Malta and the invaluable support it provides to patients and their families.
Preparing for this journey has already been a challenge. Over recent weeks, I have been training extensively, often starting my walks as early as 3:00 a.m. to avoid Malta’s intense summer heat and build the endurance needed for the hundreds of kilometres ahead.
Every step I take on the Camino will be in support of Hospice Malta’s compassionate care and services. Your donation, no matter the amount, will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Thank you for your encouragement, generosity, and support as I undertake this remarkable journey.
Please help me turn every kilometre into hope for Hospice Malta.
